Hello Bob. Forests can hold multiple domains and multiple domain trees
that's why its named forest I think. But you need a Domain Controller for
each domain at least. Say we have the follow scenario

root.com <- One DC in this domain .
child0.root.com <-One DC in this domain.
child1.root.com <-One DC in this domain.
