FWIW, we tested the heck out of many values (from 1 second to <insert big
number here> seconds) so I'd encourage you to test this before rolling it
out. The numbers we used were nice in that changes are 'fast' (where fast is
somewhat relative I know) but also doesn't take a big perf hit.

So I have worked with customers who changed this, and they had great reasons
to, but I always like to encourage some testing with this, especially if you
have a large # of changes you make to your directory.
