Win 98 log on to Win 2003 Server

Hi and Help: I'm doing a clean install of Win 2003 Server. The XP clients all long on fine but I'm stuck with 12 Win 98 clients that can see the network (through pinging, etc.) but just won't log on. I installed the DS Client patch from MS but that didn't help. DHCP, DNS, and WINS are are enabled. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
