error : # 1 Windows media Center fails to d/l updates "MC states it has to d/l updates but fails to d/l
when I try to proceed I receive this message on screen "Select a working signal" it detects TV but I get the following
error.
Component Registration failure; some of the files needed to play radio or video are missing or corrupt.
Windows Media Center component registration may have failed.
I can click "next" the next screen fails to detect IR hardware & my only options are "back or cancel"
I cannot get beyond this screen.
Really need some help
Thanks.
Has this card and/or MC system ever worked or new build?
Is your tuner card listed as being Vista MC compliant?
Have you gone to the manufacturer's site and downloaded the current and pertinent drivers?
Have you tried the card with Avermedia application?
Do you have the proper IR equipment connected? (problem 3)
