thanks, this helped me to understand. Ok so when it last said to update
I said no and it hasn't come up again. So please tell me where where I
go to re-instate the correct update for my computer, and perhaps the

You should have Java in the Control Panel if it's installed. One of the tabs
will be Update.

I have Java installed and I don't see anything about Java in the Control
Panel (including Classic view)...except for uninstall.
