I removed a ATI Radeon X300 128 mb pci-e x16 and replaced it with
ATI Radeon HD 2600 pro 256 mb pci-e x 16.
I have not tried putting the old one back in. I'm hoping that won't
be
necessary but I will if there is nothing else to try. Any
suggestions will be
appreciated.
Yes my settings are the same.
Never mind about the cd recording software...I installed the Nero
software that was on
the dvd that came with my new dvd burner and all is well in that
dept.
Thank you very much for your reply,
Janice

| It would help if we knew some specifics --
|
| What card was in the PC?
|
| With what did you replace it?
|
| Have you tried putting the old card back in to see if that fixes
the MC
| issue?
|
| Are your settings the same for the new video card
(resolution/color depth)?
|
| As far as the Sonic RecordNow software, if that came with your
system, it
| should either be on the Dell discs or perhaps there is a setup
partition on
| the PC?
|
| Have you check the Dell support site to see if your version is
available for
| download? (There are several versions listed for your system).
