Richard,
I've just used a utility (JoinVOBFiles.exe) to convert all my VOBs into one
file. When I ran the utility (Media Center Links.application) before it used
to create symbolic links for all the VOB files. Now it behaves differently.
It now only creates an empty createlinks.bat file.
Also, is there a way to change the resolution on my Extender in the MC to
widescreen rather than 4:2?
Thanks for your help.

Just a guess you are using symbolic links for the VOBs?.
The short pause you are seeing is from wvx playlist, as the playlist jumps
the next vob (symbolically linked to a mpeg).
The only way to stop the pausing is to use one big vob (symbolically to one
mpeg).
or re-rip the dvds into a format the extender can play e.g. avi, wmv

I just bought a Linksys DMA2200. I have an external drive with all my movies
ripped to it (VOB files). I have a wireless connection from my PC to my
Extender. I have it configured to recognize my movies (VOB files) in my DVD
Library.
I have a couple issues.
1. When I play my movies I cannot change the screen resolution. I can't play
widescreen and the quality isn't very good.
2. When Play my movies there is a short pause and a blank screen when it
goes from one VOB to another.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
