Assuming that FIOS works similar to regular cable, you should be able to pick up one or two standard analog tuners and plug directly into the cable outlet. You would not get your premium or on demand channels, but you should have access to your basic cable channels.

Damn, they never make it easy do they... So there is no way for me to
just pick up some parts and get this thing working? Even if it not
"True HD" I just want to get rid of my set top boxes in general. I am
guessing I would use a regular cable tuner card and go analog?
