I have VMC with 3 tuners and TV Pack 2008 installed:
Tuner 1 - WinTV 1600
Tuner 2 - WinTV 1800
Tuner 3 - ATI Digital CableCard
When setting up the TV signal, VMC only identify the following tuners even
though the feed to both tuners contains also ClearQAM:
1 x Digital Cable (CableCard)
2 x Analog Tuners
2 x ATSC Tuners
To verify the ClearQAM, I installed HDHomeRun tuner and VMC recognized the
following tuners:
1 x Digital Cable (CableCard)
2 x Analog Tuners
2 x ATSC Tuners
1 x QAM Tuner
I verified the Hauppauge tuners are using the latest drivers (downloaded
from Hauppauge since the drivers in WindowsUpdate are outdated).
I was hoping someone could shed some light on this.
Thanks,
Media Center does not support ClearQAM. Never has. Probably never will.
