During a normal boot the num, caps and scroll locks light up at various times, go off, and then at the end the numlock comes on and stays on. But during a bad boot, the lights do their usual thing except the numlock does not come on at the end. My definition of "at the end" is when the Welcome screen and musical greeting activate.
