RE: All user accounts locked

try this. Shut down your system completely and wait fifteen seconds. Then
power it back up while constantly tapping F8. Eventually you will will see a
screen of startup choices. Use the arrow keys to select safe mode with
networking and hit enter. This puts you in Safe mode in networking. You
should be able to bypass the password by selecting the administrator account.
Now from here I dont know what to do but my best guess is to go into the
control panel and look for user accounts or something to that effect and
change the password so you know what it is or if possible disable password
protection on your usernames. Let me know if this works. Neat little trick I
picked up, pissed my parents off though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm running WinXP Media Center 2005. I booted my machine yesterday and the
Log On Screen came up. I have never enabled the UAC or set up passwords, but
now I cannot log on as Owner (user it originally asks for) or Guest or
Administrator. I've tried the "hit Ctrl+Alt+Del twice at bootup" - "The
specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted". I've
tried F8, no luck. The Recovery Console is on the D: partition and I can't
access it. I have the OS disc, but I've been told reinstalling WinXP may
still leave the UAC enabled.
What are my options?
