MCETunes

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I've been using MCE Tunes for about 1 1/2 years now with great success,
however, starting with a few recent updates of itunes and quicktime, when I
load a video via MCETunes it takes 30-40 seconds whic is really annoying. If
I downgrade (which is not easy because you basically have to do a system
restore to get it to work right) to an earlier version of quicktime and
itunes things work great. I've contacted MCETunes support and after several
rounds have not had any success. Also tried several things, like setting
quicktime to safe mode, updated all possible drivers i can think of, trying
different codecs, and updating and disabling active x to no avail. Many on
the web are complaining about the same thing. Anyone have any success
working around this problem? Videos load fine directly in itunes and also
via quicktime. I have a 975xbx with 3.4 pentium D and 4 250 gig
maxtor/seagate drives in a raid 10 with about 8 external drives 500/1T via
usb as drives F - M. I have a Dual TV tuner and nvidia gforce 7600 card.
I've updated all the drivers on these as well.b
