The community works fine, you just need to post in the appropriate group, just because your using Media Center does not mean any question or problem is on topic for this group, it is for discussion of the Media Center application and things related to it, your problem is not related to it.

However, problem described does *not* say or imply Media Center.
On 6/23/2008, UNIORYOU posted this:computer specifications say media center edition (sp3 upgraded)
thanx.

You do realize that you are posting this on a Media Center board?
Although, your problem may be something that is common across various OS's,
you would probably get more/better help posting on a general XP board or a
XP Pro board.

how to resume autorun option for windows professional computers?
once I pressed the 'shift' key while inserting a blank dvd-r disc by
fault.
now I want to resume the autorun functionality back to normal.
problem(s):
Burn4free program won't detect it when I tried to burn data.
It takes 4 non-consecutive circles to get the disc detected by the
computer.
sometimes even more. now it won't even detect the disc at all.
another problem:
the external hdd attached to the computer cannot be detected rightaway as
well.
whenever I right-click the dvd drive on my computer, my pc does not
respond.
I need to close the my computer application to get the computer
running.
is there any relevance ?
please advise and help,
