Thanks! That worked. Was hoping there was a different way than
enabling Guest account.

I had the problem a few weeks ago. According to documentation I read on the
Microsoft site (sorry I can't give you the specific URL), you simply need to
enable the Guest account on the WHS. This will give them access the
folders. I tried it on mine and it fixed this problem.

You would need to log into the server via Remote Desktop and adjust the
permissions on the shared folders. You would need to set them to Everyone
for at least read access. And you can add Anonymous users with whatever
access you need to give.

This is most likely a permissions issue. The 360 uses the MCX user
account,
which does not have a matching username/password combination on the WHS
machine

I have yet to find a solution to this.
I have all my movies and music on my WHS. When i try to access them
from XBox360 through media center, it cannot see them. The music is
in the default music folder, which has Guest read access. The movies
are in a folder called Movies which also has guest read access.
When i browse to music on media center it cannot see the sared
folders.
When i try to play a movie through My Movies 2, it disaplys the path
of the movie, ok but if i try to play it, media complains with "path
not found".
