This reply to the original post person was GREAT! Saved me a LOT of Grief,
Time, & Effort. My Vista Ultimate 32-bit SP1 is OEM from Dell on a brand new
Dell XPS720 PC, I've only had for 3 weeks. When I finally got around to
exploring the perks software such as Media Center, I couldn't find it anymore
than an armadillo can make flapjacks, despite Search and Windows Explorer
poking around. Lengthy Chat session with a Dell Tech Support resulted in the
only suggestion of completely re-installing their Vista Ultimate! Good stuff
deserves repetition ... this reply with suggestion to create a short-cut was
GREAT!

I have vista ultimate, I go to start , all programs, however there is NO
media center anywhere, I see all the media stuff ie. pictture gallery,
fax/scan, movie maker etc. however no media center... HELP!!!! any ideas
