This is not common on new computers purchased from companies such as Dell, HP Etc. If you are unwilling to demad that Dell fix the problem then I don't know how any of us supporting this Newsgroup can support you.

Now sending the computer back to Dell is a non-starter.

Does anyone have a solution as this issue seems to occur fairly regularly
with Media Center, Vista, and some video tuners.
