|I was recording a movie (MCE XP 2005). The next day i durned it to a DVD
only
| to find while playing the last 10 - 20 min were missing.
| It appears that MCE stopped recording after 59 min. I'm trying to record
the
| movie again. MCE shows no indication that recording is in progress. How
can I
| tell if it is still recording?
|
| The movie played complet and there is plenty of hard drive space.
Is it possible that the drive you're recording to is formatted FAT32 and not
NTFS? (right click the drive you're recording to and select properties, file
system will be shown near the top of the general tab)
FAT32 has a 4GB file size limit which could conceivably be hit right around
1 hour of recording depending on the quality level selected.
