I think you'll find that the visualizations are not a media center thing. The Xbox360 has an excellent visualization (light show) in the blade media player however. Very high res. Very cool. Hope your TV is high definition. Set up your media player on PC for sharing with your Xbox and enjoy that. I think you'll like it better than the media player visualizations you have on your PC...and if all you're doing is music, it's easier not to have to load the media center client on the Xbox to get to your music.
