I am using Zone Alarm security suite. but have been using if for well over
3
years and never had a problem. I tried accessing my secondary drive that
also has movies today and explorer is doing the same thing with that
drive.
Folder opens, explorer goes to about 50% cpu, close and open a second
time,
shoots up to 99% and locks up.
It only appears to be happening with folders that have over 80+gigs in
them
as all other folders open and close fine. This is really strange....

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed? There are

that cause a myriad of problems which do not appear immediately.

At or around the 3rde week of February I began having a problem on my
Home
Theater PC that causes it to hang up. If I open the folder that has
movies I
have saved, about 150 gigs worth the explorer under task manager begins
to
use about 50% cpu. This does not return to 0 when the folder is closed
and
if I open it a second time it shoots up to 99% and then the computer
locks
up. Any ideas or solutions as this frustration is leading to my
decision
to
go ahead with a clean istall?
Thanks
