Handling large number shows in Recorded TV

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

As far as I can see, there are only 2 views available under Recorded
TV (small and large). If you have a large number of recordings, are
there any other ways to group these (maybe 3rd party plugin)? In Tivo
you can group by show (only showing 1 entry even if you have 5
episodes). A view that just had titles and no picture would even
work. When I have a lot of recordings, there is a lot of scrolling to
get to the shows I want.
