I am not sure that you can have 3 monitors concurrently supported especially if using Vista since there are only options for a primary and a secondary display. Have you tried disconnecting one of your other displays to see if then your S-video display will show up on the display set up screen.

Any idea of how to go about doing that? (Forcing the setting, I mean.) I've
looked at the properties of the video card and I can't find a setting for it.
I know I should know this sort of stuff but it just never came up before I
got a decent computer. If I lose one of the video outs do you think (opinion
please) it would be permanent or just when I'm using the s-video out? I
really would rather not lose my dual screen capability now that I finally
have it.

force) the s-video connection, on some cards you need to have the TV plugged
in and on for the card to detect the s-video.

My guess is that when you do that, you will lose one of the other video
outs.
