Re: Cannot see Xbox 360 from my XP PC

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

If you've set 360 up with 8 digit code and enabled sharing in Media Player, I'd say the first thing to try is using only one router and working from there. Too many devices make troubleshooting difficult.

Hi,

I've got an issue with not being able to see my Xbox 360 from my PC.
I want to stream to the 360 but currently cannot.
Here's my setup:

XP PC, with Windows Media Player 11, with (I think) all necessary
ports opened in the Windows Firewall
PC is plugged into a D-Link DL-524 router
The DL-524 is plugged into a DSL modem
The 360 is using a Linksys WRT54G router (as a client) that has been
flashed with DD-WRT, so that is can connect to my network wirelessly
I can connect to Xbox Live no problem. I can ping the 360 as well,
but in my network, I cannot see the 360.

I seemed to have tried everything, but clearly I'm missing something.
I hope someone can help. Thanks.
