the DMA2100 can't see Atheros based N networks that are broadcasting
and this makes setup more difficult if that is what you have. D-Link
has tons more experience with this kind of device as they've had
Medialounge devices for years and years (3 or 4 models) and if for
whatever reason you decide to stop using it in extender mode (or if
the next version of Windows makes the extender obsolete as it did
for V1 extenders which Linksys and HP produced) you have a different
mode of operation you can use. The Media Lounge can work in a non
extender mode to stream media on your network.
