Other than finding someone who has a similar PC and would loan you the discs, your only other option would be to buy a copy of MCE 2005, but that won't do an upgrade, you would need to do a clean install. You could just go to Vista Home Premium, but if your system is old, it probably doesn't have the specs to support Vista.

Do you have a copy or know of any way I might get one of these upgrade
cds? HP never contacted me about the upgrade; I found out about it
after the end date and no one at HP offered me any hope. Now I cannot
upgrade my PC and cannot afford a new one.
