I did not say it made sense I only stated what the current status is. Hopefully with the next release of MC for Vista some time next year MC will support Clear QAM. Maybe at next months CES show MS will provide more insight into next years MC upgrade.

Why not? This is so assinine on Microsoft's part. If MCE is supposed to
replace my cable interface, why not support clear QAM? Makes no sense at all.
