How are you trying to install XP Pro? I assume that you have either reformatted you drive or are trying to install it in a different partition?

i downloaded the driver for xp pro and it did not work. there are drivers
for media center for other video cards, so i assume that the OS are indeed
different enough.
Exactly, i want XP pro installed on my computer, but my media center OS
will not let me. When i try to install the program, windows says that my
passowrd is incorrect. I head that the system may be looking at my new key
and recognizing it as incorrect because it is not the same key provided for
media center. ( the original key the computer currently has does not match
the new key). I hope this helps : )

greatly appreciate help on how to reformat my computer so that i can run XP
pro ( I have the OEM XP Pro CD). I tried to boot from my cd, from the
start-up options, but i get some kind of error during the proccess. Please
Help : )
