You need to download the hard drive controller driver form the PC mfg's
website and provide it to XP setup using the F6 key when prompted after
booting from your XP CD.

I bought a computer with Windows Media Center and I'm dreadully sorry
that
i
did. So, i bought a windows XP Professional CD and wanted to install,
but,
when i try to install, it tells me that there is no harddrives
available
for
install. Why is this?
Then i thought I'd might have to uninstall Media Center Edition. I
tried
running OSuninst.exe in safemode with commando promt, but it tells me
that
there are some files missing in the regestry.
So I'm kinda stuck here... Anyone able to help me?
