Hello again "kragor":
I wasn't able to find the post about your problem in this newsgroup or on
google. If installing all missing Windows Updates doesn't fix your problem
you could try right clicking the speaker icon in the taskbar, click
properties, select "enhancements", and try "disable all enhancements" and see
if that solves the problem. I'm sorry my memory isn't better. I can't
remember exactly what the cure was but, it was a change in the sound
parameters. Another possibility would be to update your audio codecs to the
latest version. Hopefully someone else can help you better. Good luck!

Hello "kragor":.
I ran into the same problem several months ago and found a solution in
this forum. I can't remember what it was and will try to find post that
remedied the problem. I do not believe it was DRM related. I have since
re-installed the Media Center 2005 O.S. and didn't have to apply the solution
so I'm guessing that if you have all the Windows updates, including "optional
software" that would solve the problem. You might try going to windows
update and checking that you have all the available updates. If I find the
post on fixing the problem I'll post it here.

Every music cd I burn (that I own) to my computer has a skip, or like a
"blank", spot around the last 18 seconds or so of every song I have put on my
hard drive. What's up with this?
