Walter,
can you tell us which specific card you bought, how much was it, and where
you bought it?
I'd like to do the same.
Thanks,
ROd

,Have same problem. found this but not promising.
http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/faq/support_faq_hvr1600.html#10
It says:
"Note: If you are running Vista 64 bit and have 4GB of memory or higher
installed in the system, you will need to reduce the memory in the system
to
remedy this problem. This is a known OS issue that is currently being
looked
into."
did anyone find a fix??

I have the same prob in Vista 32 ultimate.
I have found that minimizing and maximizing the media center window sorts
out the problem ( for a while )...I too have not found a solution. If you
change the codec using vmcd.exe and decchekc it might help...but when I
did
that I had problems with DVD playback.

MC will only allow you to configure one of the tuners at a time on your
Hybrid 950 tuner card.
If running MCE2005 you can not configure the ATSC tuner unless you have
a
separate NTSC tuner configured.
The 950 card does not have a hardware encoder chip and I don't know if
there
is a MC compatible driver for its software encoder.

I'm having the exact same problem, any suggested solutions at this
point?
I've tried re-installing the 950's drivers and my graphics card
drivers
(it's
an NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS). The video appears in WinTV but not in
MCE.
Thanks in advance,
Frank

I have seen reports of this problem on 4GB Vista 64 systems using a
PVR150
card or one of the other cards that uses this tuner such as the PVR
500
or
the 1600. I have not, however, ever seen a definitive solution
posted.

Thanks for the response,
I tried 3.4B drivers, and 3.1G drivers from Hauppauge.
http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/support/vista.html
The encoder loaded with 3.4B was 2.0.25022
The encoder loaded with 3.1G was 2.0.25102
Recording Live TV only plays back the green screen. I can play
back
the
sample movies with out any problems.
I am just using the graphics in the G33 chipset with a
7.14.10.1268
driver.

Also,
Does MCE recorded TV work normally? If not can you play the
sample
programs
from MCE recorded TV?

Live TV in Media Center returns a Green Screen. Audio is fine.
Live TV does work in a WinTV 2000, but I'd prefer to use the
MCE

OS: Vista 64
MB: Foxconn G33
CPU: 6320
RAM: 2GB
TUNER: Hauppauge HVR-950
MPEG2 ENCODER: 2.0.25102 Hauppauge
Any ideas?
What is the graphics card & what version of the driver?
Do you have the latest 3.4B drivers installed
