Re: Failed to locate supported file types or there are no photos found



This is a Windows Media Center forum, you probably would get more/better answers on a general XP (either Pro or Home, since you didn't say) or even better, an iPod forum/support site.

Offhand, it sounds like some media-library type program on your PC is scanning the iPod for photos and there aren't any.

i'm running windows xp

everytime I plug my ipod in I get the following message

device"

what is this and can I make it go away?
