Brady, to be honest the fact that you've asked the question alone, I really
wouldn't attempt to do this yourself.
Unless you have relevant drivers, and application installation disks, plus
basic IT knowledge, you'll be doomed from the start.

Hi Brady,
Let me get this straight you want to keep Windows Media Center but format
the rest of your hard drive because your system is running slow. The
reason
why your system is running slow could have two main reasons. The first one
is
that your hard drive is full. I would suggest deleting some files you
don't
use anymore. Second reason is probably because you installed allot of
software. The solution to make your system ruin faster is impossible. To
format your hard drive means that you are clearing the hard drive of all
data, you can't just make exceptions on what to format on a partition and
what not.(in lament terms).
What I would suggest for you is to backup all your data and reinstall
Windows. If for some reason you can't backup your data but still want a
fresh
install of Windows MC. I would suggest reinstalling Windows MD over your
current Windows MD version. That way you keep all your data but still get
a
fresh Windows installation.
Greets,
Argentum
