Do you have the same tuner card and have you download any Vista drivers for
the tuner card and the Video card?

I also get the following Windows error (often many times) saying:

Key Points
. I upgraded from Windows XP Media Center 2005 to Windows Vista Home
Premium.
. My TV Card worked fine with Windows XP and with XP Media Center.
. My Tuner card still works fine with third party software such as
Hauppauge
WinTV and Nero.
. It appears to be working normally in Device Manager.
. My PC Is a Dell Dimension 5150, Duel Core Intel Pentium D 3GHz
processors,
1GB RAM, ATI Radeon X1300 512MB Video Card.
. PC came with the 'Vista Capable Sticker' and video card is 'Vista
Compatible'.
Driver info & Video card info:
. Video card: Hauppauge PVR-150 TV Tuner
. Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II (26xxx)
. Date: 8/01/2007
. Version: 6.0.6000.16408
Possible conflicting software:
. Nero 7
. McAfee Security Center
. DivX
. CyberLink PowerDVD
. Real Player
. Quick Time
. Hauppauge WinTV
. ATI Catalyst Control Center.
What I have tried
. Uninstalling/running cleaning software of all of Hauppauge software and
drivers then re-installing them.
. Running a check on all system files for problems.
Lets hope there is something in Vista SP1 to fix this common problem with
Vista's new and unimproved Media Center? How can newer versions of
software
be worse?
P.S. I can't submit this to Microsoft because my support feature has run
out! I didn't know I would get such short online technical support, I've
been left stranded.
P.P.S. does any one know if there is going to be or if there are plans
for a
Service Pack, beta or new version of Vista Media Center coming? Because
it
needs to be done!
Vista Media Center = Brilliant idea/Crap Software.
