different things with the pc.

I now have reformatted the hard drive. The freeview tuner is now being seen
by media centre, it scans and picks up channels. When I try to watch the
channels it is now telling me I have a decoder error and to restart media
centre or the pc. This makes no difference when I restart!

The tuner is working fine in 'Device Manager'

Also same message comes up when I try to play a dvd. I think I have loaded
the latest update for media centre but the problem is still there!

Any thoughts would be appriciated.

What DVD/MPEG2 decoder did you install?
