turning off buffering in ExpressCard TV tuner

Using an Expresscard 54 (digital/analog TV/radio tuner) in an HP2317
laptop to be able to use the laptop's screen as a monitor for a
Playstation. Quickplay & Media Center buffer the signal making game
play impossible. Anyone know of a software or setting to disable the
buffering?
