Sorry I wasn't clear about what I was trying to do. My situation is that I
have 2 set top boxes. Bot boxes are identical and have the same channel
lineup and program guide. Both also use the same IR commands to control
them.
Box "A" is connected to the Windows XP MCE computer in the living room. It
is connected through an RF capture card and transmits on Analog channel 4.
When I set up MCE to use only this box, everything works just fine.
Box "B" is in the bedroom connected to the Pinnacle PCTV To Go box. It is
connected using the S-Video output of the set top box and communicates to
the
Windows XP MCE computer in the living room via an 802.11g wireless
connection.
Two problems here...
First, these two boxes don't share the same channel lists because one is
connected using the COAX to the PC and the other is using SVideo. You'd do
well to drop the coax and use SVideo on Box A.
Secondly, the second PC isn't connected to the MCE computer, so it will
never be able to make use of that tuner. Does Pinnacle make a MCE driver for
this box? If so, it MIGHT work.
If you want two tuners you really need to put both boxes at the MCE
computer.
