Re: Disk defrag report message



Open a Command Prompt window and enter

DEFRAG X: > C:\Defragreport.txt

Where X is the actual drive letter you want to defrag. After DEFRAG is complete, the Defragreport.txt file will contain any information that was outputted to the screen.

Thanks for your response. I will close Google - Outlook not running. The file
that wouldn't defrag is at the end of a long path string. Will I be able to
widen the report layout so I can see the total path? I just need to know the
actual file name at the end of the path.
