Your .net framework was probably installed correctly, and when the update
rollup 2 for MCE2005 installed, it totally screwed up.
Here's how you would have fixed the issue.

So this was address awhile ago, as I read the messages. Just wondering if
there is any new news on the critical error. I just had the error and
couldn't get My TV to work, so I started researching and came upon the
messages on here.
This is what I did:
So I've uninstalled Security Update for Microsoft.Net Version 1.0, Update
for Windows Media 11SDK, and update for Media Center 2005...I rebooted and
now my live tv is working again, I'm not to sure which one of those
affected
my live tv. I know this has already probably been addressed. But now that
I
have live tv working again, how can I get those updates without losing My
TV
again. Thanks.
