It keeps saying it was made for XP and then it stops the installation.

"me" <me@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote in message news:6EBC740D-CE41-4C41-A2CA-8E853B51A742@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI want to edit down some of my recorded, via vista, UK tv digital freeview
recordings. What software is best to use to keep the same format?
Tonight I discovered you can import Microsoft Recorded TV Shows (.dvr-ms)
into Windows Vista Movie Maker and edit them down (eg deleting tv adverts).
But what do you do then?
I tried publishing them into DVD widescreen format. Took 20 minutes to
encode but the speech was noticably just out of sync. Picture quality too was
not as good.
Movie Maker didn't seem to offer to publish/save in the same Microsoft
Recorded TV Show (.dvr-ms) format - which is what I would have wanted. Is
this possible? If not, what format do should I publish in?
Or should I use different software to edit Microsoft Recorded TV Shows?
