Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT. Go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Classes
In the Classes key, see if there is a Drive sub-key. If so, right click the Drive sub-key and select Export. Then right click it again and select Delete. Reboot and see if this resolves your issue.

thanks for the replay, but unfortunately its not working, i've tried all 2
commands on command prompy + download the registry and installed it, but
still the problem is same, its not opening.
Kindly do help me, i am just fed up of writting the drive name in adress bar
to open it . :(

If that doesn't work, in a Command Prompt window enter:
ASSOC DRIVE=DRIVE
