Recently I have had a "work offline or try again" popup box appear saying
there is no connection to the internet available. I have not added any new
virus or firewall related programs. I am running Windows XP home ed. with
IE7
and all the updates. This happens on my laptop whether I am connect to the
internet wireless or via ethernet cable. I also have tried running the
ethernet cable directly to the modem bypassing the router and I still
experience this problem periodically. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks. Rob

Have you ran a good virus/spyware scan on your computer lately?

I use the online Housecall from TrendMicro.
