The restore function isn't a part of Media Center, it is something written
and placed on the PC by the manufacturer, not MS. Many restore programs do
wipe out the entire drive as Doug mentioned, apparently yours just
reinstalled Windows and the apps that came with the system.
If you have other docs and data files, then you probably still have the
PST's. Try using Search to find any *.pst files on the entire system, make
sure under "Advanced Options", you have checked "Hidden Files and Folders"
and "Sytem Folders". If you find any, just open it in Outlook to check it.

I wasn't given the opportunity to just restore programs. It told me that
it
would restore the PC to it's "out of the box" condition. It also said
that I
would need to reload any software programs that I had loaded on my own,
but
that any data files that had been created, would not be affected. None of
the other data files that I've accessed were affected by this, only my
.pst
file.

Did you tell the restoration program to just restore programs, or did you
tell it to put the PC back to its "out of box" condition? If the
latter,
it formatted your drive and your old files are gone.

I had to use the PC Recovery feature in Media Center (F10) after my PC
stopped booting up (While my Wife was using it, first problem... She's
not
computer literate...) However, after doing so and reloading Microsoft
Office, I can't find my old Outlook PST file, anywhere. I've searched
my
entire computer and it does not show up in any search.
How can I find it, so I can import it into the reloaded software? I'm
the
President of a local Baseball Association, and I've got thousands of
emails
pertaining to the League, that I truly don't want to lose.
