Hi all, I have a friend who is experiencing the BSOD error 0xBE, which i know is for the trying to write a read only file. It identifies the NDIS.sys as where the fault is, but i have yet to find a way to fix this. Basically anytime she turns on the computer withing a matter of minutes the BSOD appears saying that windows has been shut down for her safety. It recommended a system restore, but none of them are successfully completed. I read on one info site about rolling back a faulty driver, but one is not identified in the device manager, and she has called DELL and they didn't know what to do and gave their famous response of reformatting. Does anyone know what we can do to get things back on track?.
