Re: MCE2005 Live TV not working

No one has any suggestions? The picture is there, sort of, but the sounds is
crazy and every now and then I get a Digital Audio Service screen in MC, not
sure what it means. Recorded shows work. New shows only record for a couple
minutes and then turn off.

My MCE 2005 has been working great for over a year. All of a sudden
live tv has stopped working correctly. I eventually can see a picture
but it is jittery and the sound, if you can call it sound, is crazy.
You can't hear the program, sound like the words are all jumbled and
someones pushing the backup button on a cd over and over. Processor
usage jumps to 100% (from below 20) when I turn on live tv and it
practically locks up the program. You can stop the live tv, but unless
you are really patient you can't close MC. I end up cancelling the
processes through task manager. I have an ATI all in wonder card and
AMD processor, 1 gig memory. Everything else works fine, previously
recorded shows play without a problem and the rest of the computer
works fine. Only live tv is affected. I also tried restoring to a
point a couple days ago just for kicks, but that didnt seem to help.
Any thought?
