Then look for a PCI-e tuner that is Vista compatible. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=pci-e+tuner
I don't have one, and can't recommend any. And as another user posted, they're likely to be even more expensive than the 150/500 type cards.

You say that "if i don,t have any spare slots". Wouldn,t the empty PCI
Express slot i referred to above be a 'spare slot'?. Incidentally, it just
ocurred to me after i deleted "Beyondtv" ( Initially when i opened the PVR
150 package and started playing enclosed the dvd-rom, i stopped and ejected
it after it was installing Beyondtv) but have since discovered that it
contains drivers etc. However, when i now try to play it i get the message
"Windows Media Center Receiver Service stopped working and was closed" and
the dvd wouldn,t play. Very frustrating.

If you don't have any spare slots, and if you're not using set top boxes,
then one of the dual tuner cards (PVR-500 or similar) would be the way to
go. Alternatively, you could look for a USB tuner that is compatible with
MCE in Vista and go that route.
