Re: How to set up TV signal when output channel is 73

Marina,

Sorry, I meant the TV function of your MCE.
I have Vista with what I think corresponds to MCE2005, so your MCE2004 miliage may vary.
It has the options in setting up the TV function to select cable/satellite/antenna
My suggestion pertains to setting the TV options in MCE to 'antenna' and using only channel 73.

Hi Michael
I'm afraid I don't understand your question. There is no TV involved.
The satellite receiver has an air option (channels 21-69) and cable (73-125).
The problem is that the computer MCE2004 has input options Channel 2,3,4, S
vid, composite vid only. There is no option to have a channel 21-125.

As previously mentioned, I realize that s video or composite video would
work but there is already coaxial cable between the two rooms (and besides, I
don't think they make s video or composite video come in 20 ft cables even if
I did want to replace them).

Is there some reason you cannot set your TV to 'normal over the air antenna'
and then tune to channel 73?
