Re: MCE 2005 battery problem

OK. I see that. There you are, figuring a way to handle it, and someone complains (me!).

I would have suggested replying to your own first post with a new subject, but on thinking about it, I see that might not work either, since people might not see your correction, so I'll just be quiet :-)

Sorry for the first post, but I thought the subject wasn't correct.

All the laptops I had until now showed the remaining time and the remaining percentage when working on batteries.
The problem is that this one with MCE 2005 only shows the percentage!!!
Does anyone know a way to configure the laptop to show the remaining time of the battery?
Thanks,

Jorge

That was Jorge's question. I just was trying to point out to him that posting twice in 6 hours was rushing things a bit.

However, I appreciate your answer, since I also learned something from it :-)

The system can not estimated battery time since If you play a DVD it will probably play for half as long then the time it will last if you edit text documents since much less processing and graphics power is required.

Hi,
I have a laptop with windows xp media center edition 2005, wich is a MUI OS.
The language I'm running is Portuguese (PT).
The battery energy icon indications appear in Portuguese but the schemes of energy are in English, what I think is very strange.
The other strange thing is when I put the mouse in the battery indicator, it won't show the time remaining, it only shows the percentage of battery remaining.
Anyone knows how to solve it?
Thanks,

It can take more than six hours to get a reply here.
