I just looked at your other posts in this thread. Nowhere do you say explicitly that you have your computer set to "Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes".
1. Honestly, I really believe you have done this.
2. Nonetheless, it wouldn't hurt to check :-)
Of course, there has not been a *change* recently (after last Sunday, I mean).
You could also try this: disable the auto-adjust, reboot, reenable it, and then maybe reboot again.
I'm just grasping at straws in sympathy with your problem :-)
On 3/15/2007, Scottitude posted this:
Yeah, the DST update didn't have any effect, at least on the clock in the system tray. The displayed time is one hour behind the current DST time. I'm running MCE 2005 and to further complicate the issue, the program guide shows titles scheduled one hour earlier; 8 PM programs are "scheduled" to air at 7 PM. I had to record three different programs to capture one, no over-time hockey game.
I reviewed my past updates and it appears a recent Excel patch didn't install. Seems silly that an Excel update could wreak havoc with the system clock and MCE shell but I'm about to cross my fingers and give it a go. Hope it works; I'll know in the AM, I guess.

I'm confused, are you saying the DST update didn't even fix the PC time? The the error would be the opposite way your described, if "Lost" is on the PC to record at 10pm and begins recording at 10 (PC time) it would really be 11 as we set the clock ahead one hour. You should end up with the news recorded at 11, since the PC still thinks it's 10.
Just for grins, have you tried turning off "Automatically adjust for DST" and then changing the clock manually?
Someone at work didn't apply the DST update until after the fact and had the recording messed up, the fix was we just deleted the series and then recreated the series recording.

I've run Windows Update 3 times in 3 days and the real time and scheduled
recordings (and titles) are still one-hour off. If I'm set to record lost at
10:00 on Wednesday MCE records whatever show is on ABC at 9:00... and titles
it "LOST". If I manually record Lost, MCE titles it "Action News Tonight",
which is th local ABC affiliate news program.
Yes ALL my settings are CORRECT, it's WINDOWS that's wrong. Does a fix
exist? Anyone? Bueller?

Hi,
I have Windows XP Media Center Edition Service Pack 2 (build 2600)
Do you know where I can download the update that will handle the 2007
daylight savings time conversion?
Thanks,
Fred
