Re: ATI TV Wonder 200 Not working with Media Center

Sorry I gave you the Vista MC requirements link, however, the requirements
for a tuner card are the same as for MCE 2005.

It's more accurately NOT in the tech specs for the 200. It doesn't have
the MCE logo.

Thanks for the information. Is this somewhere in the technical specs
for
Media Center and I just overlooked it?

The TV Wonder 200 is not compatible for use in Media Center (it'll work
with
the ATI app, but not Media Center).

You'll need an ATI TV Tuner card that uses the Theater 550/650 tv tuner
chipset for use within Media Center. Otherwise, another good card
would be
the Hauppauge PVR150.

I have a VIAO XP Media Center system that came with a TV tuner. I
have
heard
that it is possible to have multiple tuners working with Media
Center, so
I
purchased an ATI TV Wonder 200 PCI TV Tuner.

The problem is that with both tuners, or just the ATI Tuner, media
center
no
longer works (with TV). The error message indicates that the signal
from
the
cable is too week.

If I disable Media Center from seeing the ATI tuner, Media Center
works
again.

How do I get both tuners to work? If not possible, what tuners are
compatable that I should be purchasing?
