When I searched for just the receiver (because I planned on using a Harmony
remote), I did find a couple of places selling the receiver as a
replacement, but the price was pretty much the same as buying the whole kit
at newegg. I just bought the kit and figured I have the remote as a backup
or ebay it.

Last I knew we hooked it up to my Brother in-laws Xbox 360 to make
typing in the infor for XBOX live and I haven't seen it since. Is my
only option to buy the complete remote kit again. I have the remote
and the keyboard and really just need the receiver. I found a similar
one one EBay but I think it only has one IR emitter port because it
looks like a model made for gateway.- Hide quoted text -

You are right. I ended up ordering the kit. What a scam though. I have
3 remotes now. 2 handheld and oen keyboard. They keyboard is a nice
enough setup to use with an os and hooekd up to the TV. They shoudl
really put a receiver in with that.
