What output from the Satellite receiver are you using?
If you use the RF output on Channel 3 or 4 (whichever is a real channel
number in your area and then tell Media Center that you have an antenna
connection it should sense a signal from that channel. The if you tell it to
watch LiveTV on that channel it will receive whatever is being sent from the

Hello I have just purchased a new computer with windows media center on
it
and I want to connect it to my tv. but i don't want to use the remote
and
channel guide.
All I want is to view and record the channel that I have on the tv at
the
time. I will use the sat. reciever to make the channel changes for
multiple
recordings. I hope someone can tell me an easy way of doing this. I
have
tried
using the infared and remote but because of where my computer is
located I
keep loosing the signal. my reciever is to far away.
